Take a moment to enjoy this cold hardy ruby beauty! It is a Hibiscus that survives the frosty winters of Cleveland, Ohio. I planted this during my tropical, African phase of gardening. I still enjoy tropical plants, but I am more focused on native plants now as they are low maintenance and attract more wildlife. Oddly enough some of Ohio's native plants share green "bloodlines" with African species.
