Taking a Bite out of a Green Apple
Apple continues to eliminate toxics with the iPad. But how green is the cloud? Greenpeace Apple is on the right track with its eco-friendlier products, but an energy hogging threat looms behind the trend towards cloud computing and huge servers needed to store data. Hopefully, a little bit of American ingenuity can be applied to develop strategie for reducing energy use of these servers. Ready to take on the challenge?
