I have some of the items recommended in what I call a "go bag" (the one sound piece of advice given by Glenn Beck) but apparently have a lot more planning to do. A budget friendly way to accumulate the items suggested for emergency preparedness is to purchase two or three items every week or so. Start preparing now. All I have to say now is "remember Katrina"!
